Oppo Smartwatch May Have 5-Minute Rapid Charging Feature

It appears that Oppo, the Chinese vendor will soon join the arms race in the smartwatch industry. Its new wearable will have a rather special trick and it may integrate quite well with Oppo Find 9 flagship. It is said that the new Oppo smartwatch will have the ability fully charge its battery in just five minutes. The brief five minute jolt should be enough to allow this small device to run smoothly for the whole day. Many of us have been rather impressed by the VOOC fast charging technology. From technical standpoint, it is quite possible for the smartwatch to have its tiny battery fully charged quickly.

At the moment, it is not yet known whether the new Oppo smartwatch will be based on the Android Wear platform. Without any confirmation from the company, it is still quite possible for the smartwatch to be equipped with a proprietary operating system. Android Wear standard fully supports wireless charging, but unfortunately; it is not possible for the feature to achieve five minute rapid charging. The smartwatch should work smoothly with the Find 9, which is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 5.5-inch display.
