Sony has launched its 2nd generation smartwatch, the Sony Smartwatch 2. It’s a vast upgrade over the original model, with a sleeker design and more than just a pile of plastic. It could be something that many serious-minded users won’t mind wearing on their wrists. Instead of a proprietary port, it now has a standard microUSB port for charging. Then, the Smartwatch 2 is ruggedized against water exposure too.
Sony promises that there will be more apps available for the device, to allow users remotely control the camera of the paired phone, get alerts and control the device’s music player. The Smartwatch 2 is equipped with 1.6-inch (220 x 176) display and a battery that can last for up to 4 days, based pattern of usages.
