A.I Watch Appears on IndieGogo
The A.I Watch is yet another smartwatch model that has launched for a crowdfunding campaign. Its listing is published in Indiegogo, where the development team asks for $100,000 in additional funding, only time will if they can reach this goal. Overall, the A.I Watch is a full Android device equipped with support for cellular connectivity.
In essence, the A.I Watch comes with a similar setup to the previously successful crowdfunding campaign, the Omate True Smart.
The A.I Watch is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1.54-inch (240 x 240) capacitive display, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and 5Mp built-in camera. Sporting a 500mAh battery, the A.I Watch may offer up to one hundred hours of standby time. Other interesting goodies include Bluetooth for pairing with smartphones, WiFi, GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer and E-compass.
The interface is based on the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other very significant feature is full connectivity with 850/900/1800/1900 GSM bands and 3G data network.
