Motorola Moto 360 Could be a Plastic Smartwatch

Motorola Moto 360Many of us have been drooling over pictures and promotional ads on the upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch. It’s one of the most discussed mobile devices in the industry and it hasn’t been released yet. Motorola is still keeping the device under wraps but we know that it is a beautifully designed wearable with metal/leather bands and round display. It looks like a luxurious model that easily sets a standard in the market. Unfortunately, there are reports that shots of the exquisite metal Moto 360 isn’t real.

Right from the start, rumors lead us to believe that the smartwatch comes with sapphire display and other high quality material. We expect it to be a smartwatch with very high price tag and incredible price. The round display supposedly makes the watch harder to assemble.

In fact, many good things we heard about the Moto 360 may not entirely be true. It could be depressing to know that the Moto 360 is actually a plastic model, instead of a metal one. It is also likely that the watch isn’t something slim, since it will be 13.5mm thick and 48mm in diameter. As comparison, the LG G Watch is only 9.9mm thick. However, there’s no rumor that negates the prediction that the Moto 360 will have wireless charging capability.
